Brisbane · Working Australia-wide

AI is your new development team. The software your team keeps asking for, at a price that finally makes sense.

Most businesses have a list of systems they have never been able to justify. AI now does most of the building, so the cost and the wait drop sharply. Experienced people decide what gets built, check every change and stand behind the result. You see the price before we start, and you own everything we deliver.

Senior-led
A senior engineer plans the work with you and checks every update before you get it.
Fixed price
You see the build price before we start. It is tied to a written plan.
AI-built
AI does most of the building. That is where the saving comes from.
Supported
After launch, you can call people who know your system.

Where we help

Problems that quietly cost you time and money.

Most of the businesses we talk to are doing well and have outgrown the tools that got them there. These are the problems we hear about most.

A process that lives in one person's spreadsheet.
It works, but it depends on them. We help turn that knowledge into a system the whole team can use.
The same information entered twice.
Orders, jobs or timesheets typed again into the business or accounting system. We link the systems so it is typed once, with fewer errors.
Finding out how the week went after it is over.
By the time the numbers arrive, it is too late to act on them. A live dashboard shows where things stand today.
An idea that seemed out of reach.
Custom software used to mean big budgets and long waits. We help you find a first working version you can afford.

The first step is always a conversation about how your business runs today.

What AI cannot do

AI writes the code. Experience decides whether it works.

AI has made writing software cheap. It has not made good judgement cheap. These five jobs still need experienced people, and they are where we spend our time.

  1. Deciding what to build.

AI builds exactly what it is told, even the wrong thing. We talk to the people who do the work and find the real problem. That step, more than any other, decides whether a project pays off.

  2. Making it fit and last.

A new system has to work with your accounting software and everything else you use, keep your information safe and cope as you grow. Getting that right within your budget is a judgement call AI cannot make.

  3. Keeping it secure.

AI writes unsafe code as confidently as safe code. Every change is checked automatically. Then a senior engineer who works to Australian Government cyber security standards reviews it.

  4. Getting your team to use it.

New software only pays off if people use it. We plan the move off spreadsheets, train your staff and run the old and new side by side until everyone is comfortable.

  5. Standing behind it.

When something needs attention at month-end, you call people who know your system. You own everything we build. Each project's insurance is matched to its size and risk and named in your agreement before work starts.

Why Smartible has that experience

We run systems a business depends on.
Smartible's founder runs IT, security and disaster recovery for a group of manufacturing companies. After a major fire at one site, critical systems were back by the next business day.
We have already done this with AI.
The quality, scheduling and shop-floor systems below were built this way, and a business runs on them every day.
We know what sits underneath your software.
With more than 20 years across computers, networks, equipment and the cloud, we fix problems where they actually start.

Experience with everything your software relies on, from circuit boards to the cloud.

About Smartible

Delivered work

Systems built in days and weeks, now running a business every day.

1day

Quality records in one place, working in a day.

Now used every day to log quality problems, the fixes, audits and documents. Managers see it all on one screen.

7.5wks

A reliable production schedule, every day.

Running in about seven and a half weeks, with 95% scheduling reliability. The traditional way was estimated at 6 to 12 months.

< 1wk

Shop-floor tracking, live.

Staff enter job times once, and both the schedule and the main business system pick them up.

What it would cost the traditional way

Once the plan was approved, we built our own client platform in about 2 days. A traditional team would need about 5 months and A$265,000 to A$475,000 to build the same thing.

How it works

You approve the plan and the price before anything is built.

We work out the problem with you and spot what could go wrong before it costs money. We write a plan for your business. Then we build it, help your team start using it and look after it.

Questions

What owners ask us first

If AI writes the code, what am I paying you for?
For the parts AI cannot do. We work out what your business actually needs and design a system that fits the software you already use. We keep it secure, help your team start using it and stand behind it after launch. AI makes building cheaper. Experience makes it work.
Where does the saving come from?
Mostly from AI. Writing the software has always been the biggest cost, and AI now does most of it. A senior engineer plans the work and checks everything AI produces. Automatic checks test every change. And because we define the problem carefully, we build nothing you do not need.
Is software built with AI safe to run a business on?
Yes, because AI never works unsupervised. It builds only what is in the plan you approved. Every change is tested and checked for security automatically. A senior engineer reviews it before you get it. If something does go wrong, we put yesterday's version back in one step.
What does support look like after launch?
There are two options. Operate & Evolve, from A$1,990 a month: we look after your system where it runs, watch for problems, keep it secure, check the backups and improve it each month. Or call on us only when you need a fix, quoted per job.
What will it cost?
Most projects start with a Specification Sprint, from A$7,900. It sets the build price before any building starts. Builds start from A$19,900. Small jobs that automate one task start from A$3,900. The first call is free.
